Can't remember the last time I actually felt good (and I mean really good) about my country.  I think it was in college before I gave up on the military.  I didn't pass my physical.  And over the following years, I became really glad I did. Wow, was that a close call...

It does feel like there's a LOT more pressure on us to be patriotic with an "act" like this on the books, doesn't it?  I mean, it's like we hate America if we don't like this thing that actually abridges our freedoms.
