From 2006: Billy has the most reasonable reaction...

I wish I knew how often I'd have the same urge as Billy in the coming years.

BTW, this is the final punchline I came up with for George W.'s State of the Union address.  That's ten in all. Things were so much easier back then.  These days, it's like how the hell am I supposed to make fun of people who are already absolute jokes?

Hey, do me a favor and go buy my comic.  Thanks!

From 2006: #GeorgeW wasn't very good at hiding much...

That's the funny thing about these politicians--they seem to think we're not paying attention.  They think that just because most folks don't want to accept the reality of two wars for nothing that NO one will notice and that history, itself, won't notice.

History will notice.  Just like so many of us who could see the metaphorical blood on Bush's hands back in 2006.  I still see it on other leaders since George W.  It's sad how we want to hide reality from ourselves.

Almost done with my series of comics from the 2006 State of the Union address from George W. Bush--just a couple more to go.  But there is a lesson here--if you think Trump is bad, just remember that, while Bush wasn't as bad as Trump, he was pretty close AND he was waging two wars and killing tens of thousands of people through his actions.  Hopefully we can prevent Trump from doing the same.  Let's just hope that another 911 doesn't happen.

From 2006: Billy and Barbie wonder: why the lies?

Seriously: why do leaders pretend they aren't in it for themselves?  They could stop lying and life would be simple for all of us.

From 2006: Barbie's expectations are much too high.

Can't remember the last time I actually felt good (and I mean really good) about my country.  I think it was in college before I gave up on the military.  I didn't pass my physical.  And over the following years, I became really glad I did. Wow, was that a close call...

From 2006: George W. was "funny".

Yeah, this is 4 of MANY of my comic strips on George W. Bush's 2006 State of the Union address. They do get more "funny" so please stay tuned.

The good new is that in 2008 Billy and Barbie would have much less to complain about (but not nothing).  This is the 3rd of MANY strips I wrote for George W. Bush's 2006 State of the Union address.  PLENTY more to come.

From 2006: Liars on TV (it's not new)

It's truly sad how eternal lying politicians are (and how badly it's gotten lately--I mean, I thought we had it bad in 2006!)

From 2006: The State of the Union hasn't changed!

Seems like Trump wasn't the first white guy to con Christians.  :/

This is the first of a series of strips I wrote in reaction to George W. Bush's 2006 State of the Union Address.  There was so much to say, half way through his second term.  Still don't know how America elected him the second time.  Hopefully, we'll be smarter with Trump and not give him a second term (or even a full first term!).

From 2006: Billy calls out #GeorgeW's fear mongering.

Eleven years ago, I thought George W. was a huge fear monger.  Donald Trump has him beat for most cowardly liar.

With all the rewriting of reality lately, this strip seems pretty topical.

From 2006: Billy and Barbie muse about being lied to

So, this comic was drawn 11 years ago and now look how bad this sort of thing has gotten. The guy in the White House lies pretty much ever time he opens his mouth now and pretty much everyone pretty much just shrugs it off.

We are in a lot of trouble.
